2021-2022 Tryout/Team Formation Process and Player Registration

Step 1
Create a Demosphere account via or login to current account and register for 2021-2022 tryouts.

Step 2
All new players are recommended to attend a PRIDE SC team training session prior to June 1st.  To schedule attendance during a training session, please contact Mark Casperson (Girls Teams) or Alex Wentz (Boys Teams).  Mark and Ryan will help schedule you at a session with the assistance of the head coach for the age group.  U15-U19 teams are not likely to have open training sessions until after May 17th.  Other age groups will allow players to attend sessions beginning May 3rd but it will be based on the team, age group and coach availability.  New players must attend open tryouts in June if they did not attend a training session. 

Current PRIDE SC players who are currently registered for 2021-2022 tryouts and are in good standing, will be given the opportunity to commit back to a team/age group without the need to attend a traditional “open tryout.”


Step 3 (If necessary)
Attend open tryouts on the following dates and times:

U7 (2015) - U12 (2010); U18 (2004) - U19 (2003):
Tuesday, June 1 and Wednesday, June 2; 6:00-7:30pm

U13 (2009) - U17 (2005):  
Monday, June 7 and Tuesday, June  8; 6:00-7:30pm


All open tryouts beginning June 1st will be at:
CW Middle School and Walnut Creek Park, 7155 Parkview Drive, Canal Winchester, OH 43110


Final Step - Commitment Process:

All current and new players who registered/attended 2021-2022 tryouts will be contacted during the team formation process regarding their team offer.  If you have questions about the specific team, please do not hesitate to ask the director or head coach. 

When a player is offered a spot, they will be asked to either accept or decline the offer as soon as possible – preferably within 48 hours of the offer.   To make this process as efficient as possible for 700+ players, electronic email offers will be the primary way offers are made, most players will not receive a phone call.  Parents are expected to check their email(s) during this process. 
In order to fully accept, players must select “accept” in the registration system, and then click to pay the deposit online.  


Registration Items Needed To Secure Spot On a Team:

  1. Copy of Birth Certificate: Needed for proof of age. Please make sure it is a copy. (UPLOAD VIA DEMOSPHERE)
  2. Photo ID:  Smallest school picture of the player is needed for player cards. (UPLOAD VIA DEMOSPHERE)
  3. USYSA Player Membership Form: This is completed electronically in DEMOSPHERE
  4. US Club Membership Form: (FOR ALL PLAYERS) (Email to the Club Administrator)
  5. Medical Release Form: Needed for tournament play. This is completed electronically in DEMOSPHERE
  6. Non-Refundable Deposit of $250.   Payment can be set up online via a credit card in your DEMOSPHERE Account.  Checks made payable/mailed to Pride Soccer Club must be received within 5 days of acceptance.

    Failure to complete all registration materials & deposit can result in loss of spot on the team


NO Uniform Sample/Registration Meetings THIS YEAR:
We will NOT hold the Traditional Registration Meetings; ALL PAPERWORK WILL BE UPLOADED VIA Demosphere.
